Salmonberry Trail Intergovernmental Agency Board Meeting Scheduled for September 27, 2023

WHEELER, OR - The Salmonberry Trail Intergovernmental Agency (STIA) is holding its next board meeting on September 27, 2023, to discuss the development and ongoing efforts surrounding the proposed Salmonberry Trail.

Details of the Meeting:

  • Date: September 27, 2023

  • Time: 1 PM-4 PM (STIA Board Meeting) followed by an optional Salmonberry Trail Q&A from 4 PM-5 PM

  • Location: The Salmonberry, 380 Marine Dr, Wheeler, OR 97147, USA

  • RSVP: Due to space constraints, public attendance is capped at 20 guests. Interested attendees are advised to RSVP by emailing Sherryn@SalmonberryTrail.org no later than September 22, 2023. Testimonies or questions for the meeting can also be submitted through the same channel.

The Salmonberry Trail is an ambitious 82-mile project that promises to transform the former Port of Tillamook Bay Railway into a multi-use pathway. Connecting eight cities and spanning two counties, the trail will offer unparalleled views of the Oregon coastline, fisheries, farmlands, and the scenic Oregon Coast Range.

Established with a mission to guide the trail's planning, development, and maintenance, STIA plays an instrumental role in bringing the vision of the Salmonberry Trail to life.
