Join Us for Trails Day 2024 at the Oregon Capitol!

We're thrilled to invite you to a special event that's close to our hearts and fundamental to our mission.

This Trails Day, we’re joining with the Oregon Trails Coalition in gathering trail advocates from all corners of Oregon to celebrate our shared passion and make a meaningful impact. It's a unique opportunity to connect with fellow trail enthusiasts, legislators, and staff to advocate for the trails we cherish and envision for the future.

Why Your Presence Matters:

  • Share Your Love for Trails: 74% of Oregonians find joy and health benefits from our local trails. This is your chance to be a part of preserving these vital community resources.

  • Advocate for Trail Protection: Help us secure a legislative fix to ensure our trails remain open and accessible.

  • Envision World-Class Trails: Contribute to the conversation on the Oregon Signature Trails Inventory and how we can enhance our iconic landscapes.

Event Agenda:

  • 9:00 AM: Arrival, coffee, and settling in.

  • 9:15 AM: Welcome by Representative Helm.

  • 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM: Legislative training, discussion of our platform, and preparation for afternoon meetings.

  • 11:30 AM - 4:00 PM: Meetings with legislators in one-on-one or small group settings.

  • 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Trail Mix(er) - An informal gathering co-hosted by Representatives Helm and Boice, featuring trail mix and great conversation!

This day is more than just a gathering; it's a pivotal moment to influence trail policy and foster community connections.
