JUNE 6TH // REI PORTLAND’S FUTURE NW TRAILS: THE SALMONBERRY & COUNCIL CREEK TRAILS

JUNE 6TH // REI PORTLAND’S FUTURE NW TRAILS: THE SALMONBERRY & COUNCIL CREEK TRAILS

REI is hosting the Salmonberry and Council Creek Trail to progress on both trails! Tangible progress has been made on these projects and there's exciting news about what's ahead. Come and learn about both trails, the vision for the network of rail-trails in the NW, and how to get involved. The Council Creek Regional Trail will be a multi-use pathway for pedestrians, bicyclists, and other non-motorized travelers for both recreational and transportation purposes. The trail will extend almost 15 miles from the Banks-Vernonia Trail in Banks to the TriMet Blue Line MAX station in downtown Hillsboro, connecting the cities of Banks, Forest Grove, Cornelius, and Hillsboro. The event is free to attend for REI members and non-members alike, and there will be some great prizes we will be raffling off!
