State Forests Recreation Fund
In addition to supporting The Salmonberry Trail project and The Tillamook Forest Center, the Tillamook Forest Heritage Trust also manages the State Forests Recreation Fund. The fund was established in 2016 in memory of Wayne Naillon, long-time trail volunteer and advocate for outdoor recreation. The fund is used to support recreation management projects, and trail and facility maintenance on the Tillamook State Forest and other state forests. When complete, the Salmonberry Trail will traverse the northern portion of the Tillamook State Forest and will connect to several existing trails, making an extensive trail network accessible from the Tualatin Valley.
Your support for the State Forests Recreation Fund will help keep this trail network open and accessible into the future. You can contribute online at https://www.tillamooktrust.org/donate/.
