2018 Gravel Ride // October 5th-7th
Join us with Cycle Oregon for a two-day gravel-fest down roads less traveled. We’re setting up camp in Tillamook State Forest and giving riders a variety of heart-pumping, pedal-churning routes to choose from daily. Gravel riders will have the whole Cycle Oregon experience – tents, showers, route support, main stage, beer garden – only this time, we’re going to be a lot more up close and personal with nature. Feel the calm of the forest as you crank through the firs and ferns, spruce and salal. See the abandoned rails and trestles that will someday be the Salmonberry Trail, connecting the Valley to the Coast. Come out, test your grit and enjoy the challenges and rewards of this first-of-its-kind backwoods biking experience.
- Only 30 miles from Portland, in Timber, OR – you can ride, or take light rail and then ride to the event. We’ll haul your gear! More details to come.
- Different route options each day.
- Quiet roads with very few cars.
- A great opportunity to experience what gravel riding is all about.

WEEKENDER // July 13th-15th
This summer, Cycle Oregon is taking our legendary two-day bike bash back to school! We will be bringing the festivities to one of Oregon’s most highly-enjoyable places to spend four years – the campus of the University of Oregon. We’ve got the whole weekend covered. The bands will be rockin’, good times will be flowing and the vibe will be permanently set to “chill”. Oh, and let us not forget all the spectacular cycling through the Willamette Valley’s best landscapes. This is going to be the best WEEKENDER ever! We’ll see you there!
CLASSIC // September 8th-15th
Eastern Oregon is our playground for Cycle Oregon’s 30th week-long cycling adventure and we can’t think of a more inspiring setting. We’re going where stoic peaks frame impossibly deep canyons. Where sweeping vistas go on forever and then, somehow, go on a little more. Where small communities with rowdy past lives welcome you with a slap on the back and a kick in the pants. Wallowa Lake, Hells Canyon country, The Pendleton Round-Up – these are the experiences that grab hold and don’t let go. So tune up that bike, build up those legs and get ready for 383* unforgettable miles. Because these seven days in September can’t get here fast enough.
